About us
CWEDA is an independent, non-profit, non-political and non-governmental organization (NGO) registered with HMG Nepal and Social Welfare Council. CWEDA is made up of social workers who have contributed over 15 years of service in the development sector with the mission of promoting development among women and children of low income in the lower classes. The organization is spearheaded by women holding key four positions in the board of the total seven members.
CWEDA has also formed the Arts and Culture Unit which is made up of experienced and professionals’ artists with the aim to promote awareness campaigns through street drama and cultural programs, also help to prepare visual tele-fils documentaries and posters and prepare audio casseettes for use in awareness campaign.
